The
following are basic guidelines for artwork submission
that follow the industry standards. It is important
that all artwork supplied comply with these
requirements:
Artwork can be submitted via e-mail, disk media
(3.5 floppies PC or CD Rom) or as hard copy.
Vector artwork(also called Camera -ready) will
be required for most silkscreening, embossing,
and imprinting jobs. Vector artwork guarantees
the highest quality. Please remember to convert
your fonts to curves/paths/outlines or include
them with your artwork.
Prefered formats for Vector
Artwork:
Corel Draw(.CDR); Adobe Illustrator v.10 (.AI,
EPS,TIFF)
Jpeg, Gif, Bmp... or raster images
are acceptable formats for embroidery digitizing
purposes ONLY. If you must use these formats
because of filesize/transfer time make sure
you use a very high quality setting(at least
300DPI). These file formats will have image
degradation due to the compression and CAN NOT
be used for silkscreening, embossing, and imprints.
As a result, additional time and charges may
be needed to recreate artwork as a vector format.
Preferably a clear large black & white,
600 dpi or higher resolution. Depending on the
nature of the job, additional time and charges
may be needed to recreate artwork as a vector
format.
Convert all fonts to outlines, curves, or paths.
Once this is done the text in your artwork can
no longer be edited. If editing is required
you must include the font (true type only) with
the file.
Any colors used in the image must be specified
as either Pantone/PMS or by a CMYK breakdown,
based on job requirements.
Creative design can be provided by our in-house
art department. Clearly explain what you require
and any ideas that you may have. Our artists
will also clean-up, re-draw, or create your
logo for an additional charge. Please inquire...
